RECYCLING TRASH IS FUN HOBBIES ARE HEALTHY
Recycling Trash Is Fun!

Every family throws away a huge mountain of trash each week.

We need a willingness to examine every single item for its potential for re-use, before we put it in the trash.

Much of our non-compostable trash ends up in landfill and waterways – a very poor out come for us and for our planet. Our planet is running out of safe places to store our growing mountains of rubbish.

Recycling is Healthier for our Planet. Recycling through Craft is Healthier for Us.

Kids can really get into helping with your family’s recycling process. They need to know why we recycle and what can happen to our environment if we don’t.

What better way to bond with the children and grandchildren and teach them the value and beauty of household trash, than to recycle together and then jointly create an interesting exciting craft project.

We have projects re-using/recycling all non-compostable household trash:-

  • Sewing scraps – materials, yarns, threads, cords, ribbons, laces, buttons
  • Paper goods – plates, cards, cardboard, cereal boxes, magazines, paper, cards, toilet and paper rolls
  • Plastic bags, bottles, tubes, tops, caps, plates, cups
  • Clothing – all garments, all fabrics
  • Buttons, bows, ribbons, braids, laces, zips and pockets
  • Towels, sheets, table cloths, doonas, cushions
  • Glass bottles, jars, tumblers
  • Metal tins, cans, foils
  • Computer discs
  • Egg, milk and juice cartons
  • Iceblock/craft sticks

And much, much more!
